Descripción : This research addresses the challenge of evangelizing in Quinua Coral, a community deeply rooted in Catholic traditions and festivals that venerate saints. Such practices are often associated with excessive alcohol consumption, generating resistance to the introduction of the evangelical message, which constitutes the central problem of the study. The general objective of this work was to design effective evangelization strategies for planting an evangelical church in the community by analyzing its sociocultural and spiritual context. To achieve this objective, a quantitative research method was employed, based on the application of surveys to a representative sample of 86 people, complemented by the analysis and review of the theoretical framework. This approach allowed for identifying the community's attitudes regarding their religious traditions, their receptiveness to the gospel message, and the possibility of including social support programs and biblical teaching for social and spiritual transformation. The findings indicate a high receptivity to learning about the gospel and a positive outlook regarding the impact that the presence of an evangelical church would have on the social and economic well-being of the area. However, the need to address cultural traditions with sensitivity is also evident, necessitating a balance between respecting local identity and implementing innovative missionary strategies. In conclusion, it is demonstrated that contextualized evangelization—based on the integration of social action and discipleship—is a viable strategy capable of comprehensively transforming the lives of the inhabitants of Quinua Coral.
