| Descripción : | Social media platforms are key tools in modern communication; however, many churches, such as the Trono del Cordero Church in Lago Agrio, have not effectively integrated them into their evangelistic efforts. This church faces challenges in reaching its audience, retaining its members, and attracting new followers, which is reflected in its limited use of platforms like Facebook and Instagram. The central issue is how the church can leverage these technologies to expand its message while maintaining an authentic connection with the community and adapting its content to digital dynamics. The general objective of this research is to analyze and propose social media evangelism strategies based on biblical principles for the Trono del Cordero Church, contributing to the expansion of the gospel. The specific objectives include analyzing the current use of social media, examining how biblical principles can be contextualized within these platforms, and proposing effective strategies. To achieve this, a mixed-method approach was used, combining surveys of church members, interviews with digital marketing experts, and a documentary analysis of academic literature. The results indicate that, although the church has a social media presence, its impact is limited due to a lack of engaging content and active participation. The study concludes that social media can be powerful evangelistic tools if used strategically by creating visually appealing content, fostering constant interaction, and hosting live events. However, it is crucial to invest in training, planning, and digital advertising, as well as to encourage active participation from members. By implementing these strategies, the church will be able to expand its message, strengthen its community, and adapt to the needs of an increasingly digital world. |
